Website Design Requirements:

DHF is the only unified trade body for the locks & building hardware, metal doorsets, timber doorsets, industrial doors & rolling shutters, garage doors and automated gates sectors.

The website needed to be easy to navigate on multiple device types whilst also reflecting DHF�s extensive services to members. These include publications, course bookings, private login areas and a wealth of information for DHF members to use across each sector the organisation supports.

Solution

Web Design Solution:

UC4 designed and built a website that was easy to navigate on multiple devices, serving the various needs of different DHF members. The website content is fully updateable in the UC4 Content Management System giving DHF full control over the information displayed on their website.

UC4 integrated with Amazon�s CloudSearch service to produce a full website search to help users find what they need on the website. The search service also includes searching content contained within PDFs.

In order to keep the data maintenance as simple as possible for DHF the website integrates with their ACT CRM system. This allows DHF to update data in one centralised place and the website handles this data efficiently to speed up data management and improve data consistency.

The website features a private members area for DHF members. Here they can access private documentation and relevant news.

A later addition to the website was the facility to handle course bookings online through Braintree Payments. The website provides a seamless and simple checkout process benefitting both the user and DHF as the customer. Since its launch both the website and payment facility have been a big success.
